About
Richi is a Boston born artist, childcare provider, and art educator. A working artist by 17, she spent her teen years being mentored by several of Boston's most notable artists. Her work focuses on bright and bold abstractions of varying degrees. Colorfields, portraits, and landscapes fill her portfolio; from large impressionist scenes to small, desktop abstractions. She enjoys working with a variety of mediums, always maintaining her unique palette and sense of color. Richi believes in “leading with color,” often developing her palette before she has a subject in mind. She pulls inspiration from her active dreamworld, nature, and the concept of play.
Working with children of all ages informs and inspires her work. The uninhibited creativity of those whose imaginations haven’t yet been stripped by society is what drives her, both in her career and her craft.
